Fall-Programs-2013-1Y Winter youth sports programs will teach your kids important skills to benefit them both on and off the court this winter.

Cheerleading
(Preschool-5)
Cheerleaders will build self-confidence while developing social skills and healthy relationships with others. Learn the fundamentals of cheerleading including basic motions, jumps, tumbling, cheers and chants. Participants practice once weekly learning a routine to cheer at a youth boys basketball game. K-5 practice will begin on Thursday, Jan 9 through Feb 27. Preschool practice will begin on Saturday, Jan 11through Mar 1. All participants will perform their routines at the Youth Boys Basketball game on Saturday, Mar 1.

CHEERLEADING- Member: $36/session, Non-Member: $54/session

Holiday Basketball Camp
(For Boys & Girls, ages 5-12)
The two day camp will emphasize team building, fair play, ball handling and shooting skills needed to prepare for upcoming basketball seasons. The camp runs Thursday, Dec 26, through Friday, Dec 27. 9am until 12pm.

HOLIDAY BASKETBALL CAMP- Member: $15/person, Non-Member: $25/person

Youth Boys Basketball
(For Boys, Grades K-5)
Basketball fundamentals, character development and fun where the game was invented - the Y. The season starts with a skills clinic on Saturday, Jan 11. Practices begin the week of Jan. 13. Games start Saturday, Jan. 18, and run through Saturday, Feb 22.

YOUTH BOYS BASKETBALL- Member: $42/season, Non-Member: $60/season

Little Dribblers Basketball
(For Boys & Girls, Ages 3-5)
This Program introduces preschoolers the FUN-damental skills associated with soccer and basketball. Basic physical and social skills are taught in a class setting, with some game play each week. Parents are encouraged to participate with their child. The seven-week session begins Jan 6. Classes are held Saturday mornings. Limited enrollment. Participants must be registered each session.

LITTLE DRIBBLERS- Member: $36/session, Non-Member: $54/session

Youth Coed Indoor Soccer
(For Boys & Girls, Grades K-5)
For the players who cannot get enough soccer, we take our league indoors during the winter months. Players enjoy the constant, off-the-wall action, while keeping their skills sharp until spring. Start the season with a skills clinic on Saturday, Jan 18. Games are played at the YMCA starting Tuesday, Jan 28 through, March 4. No practices.
