What does the "Fox" say (when asked his name)? That is now up to our community! The City of La Porte Park and Recreation Department is asking for help in naming it new mascot by choosing one of the three monikers selected by its staff from over 40 suggestions posted to Facebook over the past three weeks. The choices are: Frankie, Parker or Samuel (perhaps Sammy, for short).
Please visit the Park Department's Facebook page and leave your choice in the comment section on its post by 4 p.m. Friday. The mascot will make his first appearance on May 9 during the Opening Day of our Cal Ripken Baseball program.
