Sunday, May 10th will see the opening of ethnic gardens, wooded trails and beautiful Lake Lucerne at Friendship Gardens, 2055 US Hwy 12 in Michigan City. The Gardens will be open at 10am until 6pm. All Mothers are admitted free this first weekend and will be honored with a flower. Come enjoy the fresh air, spring flowers and stroll by the lake.
A trail walk will be held at 1pm for those wishing to enjoy the wooded splendors of the Gardens.
Friendship Gardens opens this season with longer hours for our neighbors to enjoy the Gardens. Remember, pets on a leash are welcome. Friendship Gardens is open Wednesday through Sunday from 10am to 6pm. Friendship Gardens will have people movers available for those with handicapped issues.
