The Wheatfield Chamber of Commerce is seeking vendors for the 10th annual Sandhill Crane Festival & Car Show, scheduled from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 20, in downtown Wheatfield. According to Dianne Cochran, vice president of the Wheatfield Chamber, craft, information and food vendors are asked to apply by Monday, Sept. 1.
Booth space for vendors costs $40 for a 10’x10’ space, and electric service costs an additional $5. Vendors will be asked to set up between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 20. Larger vendors and those with trailers may set up in the evening on Friday, Sept. 19, if pre-arranged.
Interested vendors can print off an application by visiting www.wheatfieldchamber.org. Food vendors with trailers must call Cochran at 219-616-4732 to discuss trailer needs.
The annual festival and car show is a family-fun event that draws numerous cars, motorcycles, trucks and tractors to the car show. The event also includes children’s activities and live entertainment.
