Salvation Army of La Porte Thanks Cripple Creek for Contribution to Red Kettle Kick Off 2014

Cripple-CreekThe LaPorte Salvation Army would like to thank Cripple Creek for making the wonderful Red Kettle Kickoff at LaPorte High School a successful reality. When we fell short of our kettle goal last year,, Cripple Creek was there to help us with a benefit concert in the spring. When we needed someone to open up our kettle season this year, again Cripple Creek was there for us.

Between the two concerts they raised over $2000 for The Salvation Army of LaPorte. We feel a deep sense of gratitude for Mitch Marhanka, Steve Eyrick, David Applegarth, Lou Voelker and John Langford. We are also very grateful to La Porte High School and all the folks that made it possible. Fran Milo was introduced as the Christmas Kettle chairperson and the Door Villiage Lions Club present us with a checjk for $700.00 to start our season off with a “roaring” start! A huge shout out and thank you to all.
