Runnin' for Prestin, a 5K Run/Walk will be held Saturday, September 22, at Washington Park in Michigan City. Prestin Butcher, an 11 year old La Porte County resident, was diagnosed in June 2011 with Medulloblastoma, a very aggressive brain cancer. The race will begin at 8:00 am.
The race begins at 8:00 am. The course starts on Lake Shore Drive, adjacent to the JayCee stage, finishing back at the stage. Computerized chip timing will be provided by T&H Timing. Register online at www.thtiming.com.
