The City of La Porte Park and Recreation Department will host its second annual Run For Our Parks 10K/5K at 9 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 12, in Soldiers Memorial Park.
The entry fee is $20 through Sept. 27 or $25 after Sept. 27 and day of the event. Fee for the event includes a t-shirt (unless choosing the “without t-shirt” option), chip timing, race number and post-race snack. Proceeds benefit City of La Porte Park and Recreation Department. Overall and age group awards to be presented.
