Registration continues for the La Porte Park and Recreation Department youth sports programs, which include Cal Ripken Baseball (divisions for ages 7-12), Girls Softball (divisions for ages 7-17), T-Ball (ages 5-6) and Tennis (ages 4 and older).
Register for baseball, softball or t-ball on-line by visiting www.cityoflaporte.com and going to the program page through the Park Department page or visit www.active.com and search for either La Porte Cal Ripken Baseball, La Porte Girls Slowpitch Softball or La Porte T-Ball. Registration also available from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. weekdays at the Park Office (250 Pine Lake Avenue) or by phone with credit card at (219) 326-9600.
Register for tennis from 4-6 p.m. Tuesday, May 13, and Friday, May 16, or from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, May 29, and Friday, May 30, at the Bill Reed Tennis Complex in Kesling Park.
The deadline for registering for baseball and softball is Friday, March 7, and the deadline for t-ball is Friday, May 2. Divisions determined by participants age on or before April 30.
