If you enjoy soccer and a sandy beach, then this tournament is for you and your team. The 2013 Soccer in the Sand Tournament will be held at the Washington Park Beach located at 6 On The Lake in Michigan City, Indiana on Saturday, July 20th. The tournament registration deadline is July 6.
Every team is guaranteed three bracket games filled with lots of touches on the ball and a fun environment to try all your latest and greatest moves! Games will be 4-on-4 plus a goalkeeper with two, 12-minute halves. Minimum roster count is five and maximum count is 11 (seven–nine players is recommended).
The tournament is open to U8 – U18 boys and girls, men’s, women’s and adult co-ed. Cost is $275 per team and all skills are welcome. Brackets will be determined by age level and experience will be factored in if enough teams register.
Not only is Soccer in the Sand fun, but it also enhances fitness and skill development. This unique tournament provides a relaxed family atmosphere and small-sided games with LOTS of shooting and goals.
