Thanks to a generous grant from the La Porte Urban Enterprise Association, READ La Porte County, Inc. will be holding a Community Open House on Tuesday, June 17th from 6:00 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. in the Large Conference Room of the La Porte County Public Library.
READ volunteers, board members and the general public are invited to celebrate READ's progress and learn more about opportunities to assist in their mission.
READ LaPorte County provides tutoring and tutor training for English language, reading, mathematics and digital literacy. Our students come from all walks of life, representing a wide variety of ages, races, socioeconomic backgrounds, and skill levels. Like our students, our volunteers are members of the community with diverse experiences to offer.
