Teams took 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place at the 16th annual Scrabble Tournament sponsored by READ La Porte County, Inc., held on September 19, 2019 at the VFW in La Porte.
David Wittchen and Leah Wittchen took first place. Connie Conjalka and Jane Wickstrom came in second. Carolyn Pillai and Krishna Pillai were the third-place winners.
All participants enjoyed delicious appetizers and a silent auction of gift cards, baskets, and more.
