Purple Over Bullying

Students and staff at many Michigan City schools donned purple ribbons and other accessories on October 24, showing their stance against bullying. Edgewood students (pictured here with school Counselor Missy Glowski, Principal Peggy Thomas, EAP Assistant Alicia Morland, and Safe Harbor Site Coordinator Dianne Debald) were also wearing team jerseys for Red Ribbon Week, as they "teamed up against drugs."

Students are standing in front of a pledge they signed against bullying, and many are holding posters from a school-wide anti-bullying poster contest.
