Purdue University Northwest Sports Update, November 3, 2016

PNW-Purdue-Northwest-Hosts-Tip-Off-Classic-Friday-and-Saturday-in-WestvillePurdue Northwest Hosts Tip-Off Classic Friday and Saturday in Westville The Purdue University Northwest men’s basketball team will open its home slate on its Westville campus with a two-game swing in Friday and Saturday’s James B. Dworkin Tip-Off Classic.

The Pride (1-1) will take on Taylor University (2-0) beginning at 6 p.m. CT Friday at the newly constructed James B. Dworkin Student Services & Activities Complex, followed by a matchup with No. 3 Davenport (Mich.) University (1-0) at 4 p.m. on Saturday.

The two games are part of the eight-game, men’s and women’s tournament that begins at 2 p.m. Friday and noon on Saturday.

The Dworkin Center is located on PNW’s Westville Campus at 1401 S. U.S. Hwy 421, Westville, Ind. The Dworkin Center is located at the far south side of campus.

Purdue Northwest Opens 2016-17 Campaign This Friday in Westville The No.13 ranked Purdue Northwest women’s basketball team will kick off its 2016-17 campaign at the James B. Dworkin Tip-Off Classic this Friday and Saturday at the James B. Dworkin Student Services and Activities Complex in Westville, Ind.

The Pride (0-0) will open the season with a non-league contest against Cornerstone (1-0) Friday at 4 p.m. (CT) before facing off with Grace College (1-1) at 2 p.m. (CT) on Saturday afternoon.

The two games are part of the eight-game, men’s and women’s tournament that begins at 2 p.m. Friday and noon on Saturday.

Purdue Northwest Hosts Judson in CCAC Quarterfinals Friday The Purdue University Northwest men's soccer team will host the quarterfinals of the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Tournament as the Pride take on the Judson Eagles Friday.

The No. 7 seed Eagles (7-8-3) will take on the No. 2 seed Pride (10-4-4) at Dowling Park starting at 1 p.m. CT.

The winner of this game will take on the winner of No. 6 seed Saint Xavier and No. 3 seed Cardinal Stritch next Tuesday, Nov. 8.
