The results are in! After a month-long survey that saw nearly 2,300 people cast their votes, the Purdue University Northwest Pride mascot has a name: Leo.
Leo, represented by the image of a lion, made his debut this year on both the Hammond and Westville campuses at the opening Welcome Rallies in August, and now he has a name!
Leo was the most popular vote from the official online survey, which was distributed Oct. 12.
PNW students, staff, faculty, alumni, and fans were encouraged to cast their vote via the online survey, and PNW has spoken: Leo, the face of the Pride, will represent Purdue Northwest.
Fans can now follow Leo on Instagram at https://www.instagram.com/pnwLEO/
