Purdue Northwest Announces Change in Women’s Soccer Leadership

PNW-Purdue-Northwest-Announces-Change-in-Womens-Soccer-LeadershipPurdue University Northwest has announced the resignation of head women’s soccer coach Kellie Evans, effective immediately.

“I want thank Kellie for her service during her time at Purdue Northwest and wish her the best in her future endeavors,” PNW Director of Athletics Rick Costello said.

A nationwide search for Evans’ replacement is currently underway.

Evans, the second coach in team history, coached one season in the program’s final year as Purdue Calumet, leading the then-Peregrines to a 2-15-1 overall record and an 1-11 mark in Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference play.

The Purdue Northwest Pride women’s soccer team, now in its fifth season as a program, opens its 2016 campaign on Thurs., Aug. 18, with a home contest against Lawrence Tech slated at Dowling Park.
