Purdue Men’s Basketball Season Tickets Going Fast

purdue-logoSeason tickets for the 2013-14 Purdue men’s basketball team are going fast and fans have several options to purchase tickets for the upcoming season.

Season tickets are still available ranging from as little as $300 for the public for all 19 home games that include the Big Ten slate, the ACC / Big Ten Challenge against Boston College on Dec. 4 and both preseason exhibition games.

Already, 10,985 season tickets have been sold in the 14,123-seat Mackey Arena. Fans are encouraged to purchase season tickets to guarantee their seats for the 2013-14 schedule, by calling the Purdue Athletics ticket office at 765-494-3194 or toll free at 1-800-497-7678. Fans can also purchase tickets online at www.purduesports.com(.)

In addition, beginning Monday, Sept. 16, fans can purchase five-game mini plans for seats in the upper level for just $150. The games are split into four tiers that consist of one game of either Indiana (Feb. 15) or Michigan State (Feb. 20), one game from the ACC / Big Ten Challenge game against Boston College (Dec. 4) or Michigan (Feb. 26), one of the Nebraska (Jan. 12) or Penn State (Jan. 18) contests and two of the remaining non-conference games (excluding Boston College).

The priority deadline for the Crossroads Classic against Butler (Dec. 15) at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis will be Sept. 30, and the following day (Oct. 1), single home game and group tickets will go on sale to John Purdue Club members. Single-game and group tickets will be available to the general public on Oct. 15, while Purdue students will have the first chance to purchase single-game tickets on Oct. 14.

Mackey Arena has been one of the nation’s top home-court atmospheres as the Boilermakers ranked 30th nationally in attendance for the 2012-13 season, averaging 11,857 fans per home game. Purdue has ranked no lower than 36th nationally in attendance in each of the last eight seasons, compiling a sterling 111-23 home record during that span.
