Purdue Extension Presents 2 Educational Programs: Great Organizing Tips and To Be Or Not to Be Gluten Free

Purdue-ExtensionThese days, we are all looking for ways to simplify our lives. With busy schedules between work and other commitments, we sometimes start feeling out of control and stressed, which can lead to a sense of being overwhelmed. When clutter and disorganization take over a home and our lives, it’s difficult to find a place to relax and unwind from the daily grind. Join Annetta Jones, Purdue Extension Educator, as she gives you great tips on eliminating the clutter and becoming more organized so you can once again escape to that peaceful retreat. The program Great Organizing Tips takes place on August 13th at the Porter County Expo Center at 1:00pm and again at 6:00pm and is free to the public.

Beginning at 2:00pm, Allison Goshorn of Purdue Extension LaPorte County will present To Be or Not to Be Gluten Free. Learn the ins and outs of gluten and where it is most commonly found in our diets and whether going gluten free is the healthy thing for you.

These programs are sponsored by the Porter County Extension Homemakers. Please call the Porter County Extension Office at 465-3555 for more information about these two informative programs or to pre-register. There is no fee required, and the public is invited to attend.
