The Purdue University Calumet men’s tennis team sustained a 9-0 loss at league foe Cardinal Stritch University Sunday.
The Peregrines fell to 0-5, 0-3 in the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference with the setback in Milwaukee, Wis.
Purdue Calumet’s Jeff Michner (Highland, Ind./Highland) and James Newman held tough at No. 3 doubles before falling, 8-3, to CSU’s (14-6, 2-0) Alef Guimaraeas and Stuart Nett.
The Peregrines return to action Saturday, April 4, when they host league rival Calumet College of St. Joseph starting at 11 a.m. at Highland High School.
