Puppy Pile-Up: A Note from Michiana Humane Society

Michiana-Humane-Society-Puppy-Pile-UpThese puppies arrived at the Michiana Humane Society on March 13 in a big plastic box. Since then the pups have eaten about 200 pounds of kibble, received 16 Parvo/Distemper vaccinations, and they've all had their spay/neuter surgeries.

This past Monday they went up for adoption. We received 20 completed applications, and carefully selected the eight families that will add a puppy to their families. Five have already gone home!

This is just the start of the baby season! Five other puppies have been through the shelter this month, and ten kittens.

If you aren't in the market for a baby pet (and not everyone is!) you can help us help them by making a monthly pledge of support. Just $10 a month pays for ten pounds of puppy food -- every bit helps! Please click the button below to set up an auto-transfer that will keep the kibble flowing!

Thank you for caring about our animals!
