Principal of Kuwait School to Lead Local Catholic Elementary School

queen-of-all-saintsMarie A. Arter, assumes the responsibilities of principal of Queen of All Saints Catholic School in July 2015. Arter, a Chesterton native, returns to Northwest Indiana with a distinguished career in elementary education and administration in the Midwest and abroad. Currently she serves as elementary principal at the American Baccalaureate School in Abraq Khaitan, Kuwait.

"Queen of All Saints School is a family environment committed to the children in our care," says Arter. "I believe in sharing my world-view while challenging the children to be the best person our Lord intends them to be. I am thrilled to be a part of the Queen of All Saints School family, and to resume my servant leadership role, in Northwest Indiana."

Arter's experience includes teaching children in 5th-8th grades, serving as principal of K-8 schools in Indiana and Ohio, and directing high school curriculum at Toledo Catholic Central High School. In 2002, she was honored as the "Best Principal in Toledo."
