The Pastors and Churches of LaPorte would like to invite the city to gather for a "Prayer for the City" event on Thursday January 3, 2013. One of the most significant things that happened over the last year, were that the churches of LaPorte started praying together for the city. We gathered(at Bethany Lutheran) last December to pray for Blair before she took office, then we gathered again(at Agape Christian Church) in August before the school year started. These were "holy moments" and the Lord was pleased by us coming together and asking God to bless our city. We see signs of Him answering our prayers in a variety of ways across our city.
On January 3, 2013, we would like to invite you gather for a similar event again. This event will be hosted by Liberty Bible Church-LaPorte(former LaPorte Cinema 608 Colfax Ave). It will start at 7pm and be over at 8pm. The service will be lead by clergy from several churches across LaPorte.
Let us continue to humbly gather with each other in the name of Christ and ask God to pour out His Spirit on our city in greater ways. "Lord hear our prayers!"
