Healthy Eating
A healthy lifestyle involves many choices. Among them, choosing a balanced diet or healthy eating plan. Join Registered Dietitian Jill Kilhefner as we dive into what healthy food choices include as well as examining the DASH diet. The event will be held at 6 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 21 in the Community Room at Porter Regional Hospital, 85 East US Highway 6 in Valparaiso.

Mens Health: Maintaining a Healthy Prostate
If you don’t know what your prostate is or what it does, you’re certainly not alone – many men don’t, but really should since more than 30 million men suffer from prostate conditions that negatively affect their quality of life. Join Urologist Dr. Kparker to learn what good prostate health involves as well as how to maintain a healthy prostate and deal one of the most common problems, benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) or an enlarged prostate gland. The event will be held at 6 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 28 in the Community Room at Porter Regional Hospital, 85 East US Highway 6 in Valparaiso.

Porter Regional Hospital’s community wellness programs are free and refreshments will be provided. Pre-registration is required. To register, call 1-800-541-1861.
