Porter Regional Hospital Opens CareEXPRESS Urgent Care Center at Valparaiso Medical Center

CareEXPRESSPorter Regional Hospital will open its second CareEXPRESS Urgent Care Center in its Valparaiso Medical Center located on the corner of Roosevelt and Glendale at 1900 Roosevelt Road, in Valparaiso on Monday, Nov. 12. CareEXPRESS will offer patients walk-in care for illnesses, injuries, school or sports physicals, x-rays and lab work – and no appointments are necessary.

We understand that people get sick beyond normal business hours and don’t always want to wait for their doctor’s office to open,” said Porter CEO Jonathan Nalli. “With CareEXPRESS, we're providing patients in the Valparaiso community with even more access to quality Porter medical treatment. Now patients can be seen in a timely manner and in a convenient neighborhood setting.”

CareEXPRESS in the Valparaiso Medical Center will be open 5 to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Additionally, CareEXPRESS offers patients on-site lab and x-ray services.

Additionally, Porter Regional Hospital’s CareEXPRESS in the Chesterton Medical Center at 650 Dickinson Road in Chesterton is open 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. seven days a week and also offers on-site lab and x-ray services.
