Porter Health Care System recently named Bob Welsh, Lead PC Tech, as the Associate of the Year. Welsh was selected for his high sense of ownership, reliability and responsiveness.
On receiving the award, Welsh shared that he was very honored to be chosen and stated, “Being selected as the Associate of the Year is an unbelievable honor. I work with incredible colleagues and share this award with them. We all work to support each other to provide our patients with the best care possible.”
In Welsh’s position, he is responsible for managing technical support processes as well as coordinating hardware purchasing and inventory and assisting with installation and support of computers at all of Porter’s campuses. Welsh also supervises Porter’s PC technicians and customer support staff.
