“Our student-athletes continue to live up to our department motto of ‘Students First, Athletes Second’ and I’m so proud of their commitment to academics,” said Rick Costello, PNW Director of Athletics. “Our coaches and staff should also be commended for their efforts assisting our student-athletes and teams. It was another big year in the classroom for the Pride!”

In total, 11 of PNW’s 13 varsity athletic teams attained a team GPA of 3.0 or higher. In addition to women’s basketball, the Purdue Northwest women’s tennis (3.66), men’s tennis (3.50), women’s soccer (3.44), and the men’s golf and women’s golf teams (tied with 3.35) rounded out the Top 5 squads.
