PNC Non-Credit Acrylic Painting for Beginners

Paint-brushesThe Purdue University North Central Office of Graduate and Extended Learning will offer a non-credit personal enrichment program, "Acrylic Painting for Beginners." Artists will discover creative ways to use acrylic paints while also learning basic concepts and techniques of painting.

The class will meet from 9 a.m. until noon each Monday from Nov. 4 through Dec. 2 at PNC - Porter County, 600 Vale Park Road, Valparaiso. The registration deadline is Friday, Oct. 25 at 4 p.m.

The class will be taught by artist Connie Kassal. The registration fee of $149 includes reference materials and all required supplies and materials - paint, brushes, canvases, canvas paper and more. Individuals must be 13 years of age or older to enroll.

Participants should plan to provide their own painting aprons or appropriate painting attire.
