Pint Size Heroes at Pine Elementary

Pine-Elem-Blood-DriveBuddy the Blood Drop (a.k.a. Paraprofessional Andrea Renner, shown here with a group of 4th graders) was on hand at Pine Elementary School last week, for the kickoff of the school's "Pint Size Heroes" Red Cross blood drive.

The drive will be held in the school gym at Pine on Friday, November 30, from 1:30 - 6:00 p.m. and members of the public are encouraged to donate by visiting redcrossblood.org (enter sponsor code: pineelem).

The Pint Size Hero program is a community service project developed by the American Red Cross to introduce children to the importance of donating blood.
