Pfeil Innovation Center Receives Junior League Award

rot1The Pfeil Innovation Center (PIC) will receive The Junior League of South Bend, Inc.’s President’s Award for 2014-2015. This ward is presented annually to an individual or organization that has offered invaluable service to The Junior League. It is through the support of recipients of this award that allows the Junior League to develop the potential of women and impact the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers.

The PIC received this award in honor of the 2-day Innovation Immersion Classes and the “condensed version classes” that were designed for Junior League members. The Junior League also held their Board, Membership and Full Council Meetings in the Pfeil Innovation Center throughout the year.

“As a completely volunteer run organization, each year is a new experience for our members as they hold a different volunteer placement,” said Marcia E. Polaski, President of the Junior League of South Bend. “It is with this in mind that we grant this award to you, as your entire team continued to offer support and training to our members throughout the year to make this year especially innovative.”

Representatives from the Pfeil Innovation Center will receive the award Tuesday, May 12 during an event at Riverside Terrace in Mishawaka.
