Rotary of La Porte is pleased to report that the "Perchin4polio La Porte Ice Fishing Derby" was a great success. 57 fisherman and fisherwomen braved the "Winter Storm Warning" to enjoy the fishing and competition. Funds were raised for the charities that Rotary supports both locally and internationally, including the "Polio Plus" program that focuses on the eradication of polio worldwide. A special thanks to the City of La Porte Parks Department and all our sponsors for their great support of this event. We are excited to be part of the WinterFEST events in our community.
