“It’s really easy to work with them. Both of our events are totally different, so they take a different approach, but both are so easy with Julie,” Tupiak said. “It comes down to talking with her and telling her what you're looking for, and you either go the route of how much you want to pay per person or you pick the items you want from their menu. She's really good at helping you understand if you have enough food, if you have a good variety, or if you need more. Julie has really great suggestions of what kind of foods we can alternate if we notice one type of food didn't go as well over with the crowds. The meatballs always go out the fastest because everyone loves them at every event.”
Whether it's the signature, savory meatballs or delicious dessert cups, Tupiak has always been pleased with the food itself at each event, but dedication to the details and personal touches is her favorite part of working with Krause and Patrick’s Grille Catering & Events.
“When they set up, they'll put in those personal touches,” Tupiak said. “She asks every year what our theme is for All About the Girls, and she'll have little decor that works with it. For the Good Life Awards, she brought sequin display cloths because it worked for our theme and the time of the year. They put in those personal touches without you having to ask for them.”
