Parade applications are available for the La Porte Santa Parade, and registration information is available for the Kris Kringle Blitz. The Santa Parade will take place at noon on November 28. Join in on the 2nd Annual Kris Kringle Blitz, a costumed- fun run, before the parade.
The Santa Parade is free for all to participate. Entries must be holiday themed and creativity is encouraged, and can range from walking groups to floats. Santa will come to town on the fire truck, then be escorted to his Chalet, located at 803 Washington Street (Old Train Depot). The parade is a well-attended family event and will include a Fun Run prior to the parade, a Santa Village and tree lighting ceremony after the parade. You will be contacted with your unit number before the parade. Deadline November 13th.
