The Thaddeus C. Gallery is hosting a one-week auction to benefit Meals on Wheels. The painting, “Charging Stallion” an acrylic on canvas measuring 38”x38”, was created live during the City of La Porte’s Sunflower Fair by Laura and Thaddeus Cutler.
The Cutler’s will donate proceeds from the sale to benefit “Meals on Wheels” a La Porte organization that delivers meals to homebound people who cannot prepare their meals because of illness, disability, or age. Their grandparents, Marvin and Jane Goad were volunteers who delivered meals for years until the need arose this summer for them to receive meals themselves.
The Auction commenced online Friday, Oct. 18th and will continue until 8pm October 25th. Individuals can view the painting and see the current bid at www.thaddeusc.com. Anyone interested in placing a bid can email the gallery at info@thaddeusc.com or call the gallery direct at (219) 326-8626.
Final Auction bids can be placed in person during the opening reception of the “Colors of Autumn” exhibition on Friday, October 25th, from five to eight in the evening.
