Openings Remain for June 18-22 ASM Materials Camp for Teachers at Purdue Northwest

Several openings remain for middle and high school teachers of science, chemistry, mathematics, engineering, technology or art to attend the upcoming free professional development camp June 18-22 at Purdue University Northwest (PNW). Pre-service teachers and community college instructors are also welcome.

The camp helps teachers engage their students in applied science and engineering. Teachers who complete the camp will earn four CEUs or 40 PGPs.

Supported by the ASM Materials Education Foundation, the camp instructs teachers how to easily integrate everyday materials into existing lesson plans and to conduct low/no cost simple labs and experiments to engage students.

An online application is available at: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/997BFG8.
