MC-Farmers-Market-LogoThe Michigan City Farmers’ Market will kick off its 23rd season on Saturday, May 2nd from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the corner of 8th & Washington Streets in Michigan City. The market offers a delightful assortment of seasonal produce, flowers, breads, cheeses, and meats along with prepared foods from local bakeries and restaurants. The market promotes the local food movement, as we focus on healthy food options and natural products. We support and encourage organic and sustainable growing practices by bringing these local farmers to the Uptown Arts District. All the fruit and vegetable producers participating in the Michigan City Farmers’ Market are locally sourced within 100 miles of Michigan City’s Uptown Arts District. We encourage the public to “know your farmers, know your food”, as we strive to bring you the freshest, greenest produce in Northwest Indiana!

The market will run every Saturday from May 2nd through October 31st, 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Locally grown fresh produce, plants, baked goods, and packaged foods will be featured as well as entertainment, educational programs, and fun activities for everyone.
