Registration on-site is also available at schools Aug. 7-9
Michigan City Area Schools is now registering students for the 2013-2014 school year.
Returning students with no change of address or custody information may be registered online through August 9 at www.EducateMC.net. (Computers will be available at all schools for parents to use for registration July 29-August 9 during regular summer building hours.)
New enrollees, families who have a change of address or custody, or those who need additional assistance may come to on-site registration on the following dates:
- At all elementary schools - August 7 (Noon to 7:00 p.m.) and August 8 (8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.)
- At all middle schools and Michigan City High School - August 8 (Noon to 7:00 p.m.) and August 9 (8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.)
Required forms for new enrollees and others are available to download and print in advance of on-site registration at www.EducateMC.net. Parents/guardians attending on-site registration should bring proof of residency (a lease, utility bill, etc.), photo I.D., updated immunization information, custody information (if applicable) and updated emergency contact information. In addition, parents of new students are asked to bring a copy of the student’s official birth certificate.
The first day of school for all Michigan City Area Schools students is Wednesday, August 21, 2013.
