Dear Neighbor:

The Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority (IHCDA) is offering a one-time utility bill assistance program to eligible Hoosiers affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Hoosiers that have lost a job, or had hours severely cut due to the COVID-19 pandemic, may be eligible for up to $350 in utility bill assistance from the IHCDA. The Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program is being funded from $17 million in additional federal funds through the CARES Act.

The deadline for filing for this assistance is July 31, 2020.

As always, please do not hesitate to reach out to my office if you are in need of assistance.

Sincerely,
