NPHS Announces Class of 2018 Valedictorian & Salutatorian

NPHS_Class_of_2018_Valedictorian_Ashleig-1 Ashleigh Suppinger is our Valedictorian this year. She maintains a 4.586 GPA. She is a AP Scholar with Distinction, Indiana Rising Star, Elk’s Most Valuable student and HOBY Leadership Ambassador. During her time at NPHS, she was the Student Senate President, vice president of National Honor Society, varsity volleyball captain, and varsity tennis captain. She made the Academic All-State team, AAU Academic All-American, NIC 1st Team All-Conference, and was a WHME Student-Athlete of the Week. During her free time, she has logged over one hundred hours of community service. She will attend IU Bloomington as a direct admit to their science program to study Neuroscience Pre-Med and minor in Spanish. She plans to continue onto medical school and eventually become a Certified Neuropathologist.

NPHS_Class_of_2018_Valedictorian_Ashleig-2 Jordyn Bloode is our Salutatorian this year. She maintains a 4.484 GPA. She participated in National Honor Society and was the Spanish Honor Society President. She was an Indiana Rising Star and made the First and Second team All-Conference in Cross Country, as well as an Academic All State Honorable Mention during her time at New Prairie. She will be attending Carthage College in Kenosha, Wisconsin where she has been directly admitted into their Nursing program. After earning her BSN, she plans to continue her education and earn her Master’s Degree in Forensic Nursing. If that isn’t enough during the college years, she will also be on the swimming and softball teams.
