Notre Dame Catholic School has achieved top 15% status nationally in both reading and math. The Council for American Private Education (CAPE) has released the criterion by which a school is recognized as being in the top 15 percent of schools in the nation in reading and mathematics.
Publishers of nine nationally normed achievement tests have provided cutoff scores that define the top 15 percent of schools in each of these two subject areas. The table below represents the composite scores identified by Northwest Evaluation Association (NWEA) as providing the most comprehensive coverage of reading, including reading comprehension, and the most comprehensive coverage of mathematics for their Measures of Academic Progress (MAP) tests.
