Join board-certified gastroenterologist Eric Steinberg, MD, to learn more about the risk factors that contribute to colon cancer, why it’s on the rise in younger adults in the U.S., as well as diet and lifestyle changes that help prevent it at Northwest Health’s next HealthyU wellness seminar. The free event entitled Colon Cancer: Preventable, Treatable, Beatable will be held from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., on Thursday, March 21, 2024 at the Health Foundation of La Porte located at 140 East Shore Parkway in La Porte.
During his talk, Dr. Steinberg will explain what colon cancer is, the importance of early detection and the most effective treatment options. There will be a question and answer session at the end of the presentation.
