NIPSCO Lends a Hand for a Greener Beach

Last Saturday, NIPSCO's Environmental Action Team (NEAT) and several local organizations cleaned up about 3,500 pounds of debris during the first annual Michigan City Beaches and Blueways Cleanup. Employees collected trash and debris from the beach at our Michigan City Generating Station.

Other organizations lending a hand: NWI Paddling Association, Save the Dunes, Shirley Heinze Land Trust, Michigan City Parks Department, Michigan City Chamber of Commerce and the NWI Steel Headers.
