NIPSCO Gives Back to Hammond Schools

Junior-AchievementNIPSCO and Junior Achievement Team Up to Give Students Real-World Experience

With the help of NIPSCO volunteers, more than 1,500 School City of Hammond Elementary students will have the opportunity to learn how to own their economic success, plan for their future, and make smart academic choices through Junior Achievement’s “JA-in-a-Day” Program.

Sixty-six classes, grades kindergarten through fifth, will be visited by NIPSCO employees, who will share their own relevant professional perspective and experiences while delivering Junior Achievement-provided materials related to financial literacy, work readiness and entrepreneurship.
