Because accessibility is at the heart of its mission, scholarships for all ages are available for all of LCA's spring offerings thanks to the generous support of the Unity Foundation of La Porte County and LCA’s Dolly Fund.
LCA's Teen Arts Council (TAC) continues meeting through the spring. Connecting creative teens from regional high schools, participants deepen their understanding of contemporary practices, both in their own works and in their roles as artists in the greater community. TAC meets every fourth Thursday from 6-7:30 p.m. and is free to all teens. Please register by emailing Nelsy Marcano at nmarcano@lubeznikcenter.org. Thank you to the Dale E. Landsman Arts Foundation for supporting TAC.
Free Family Day is back Saturday, February 12 from 1-3 p.m. and offers docent-led family-friendly tours in English and Spanish of our current exhibition, Nature Now. Bringing families together for a day of fun, art-making and snacks, Free Family Day has been made possible thanks to the Tuholski & Oberlie Environment & Arts Fund for Youth.
Free gallery tours are also available for small groups, organizations and other programs. To schedule your docent-led exhibition tour, contact Janet Bloch, executive director at jbloch@lubeznikcenter.org. To schedule a children's tour, contact Nelsy Marcano, education director at nmarcano@lubeznikcenter.org.
