The La Porte County Symphony Orchestra Children's Chorus welcomes you and yours to "Need a Little Christmas"!
Friday, December 6, 2013 - 7:00 pm Bethany Lutheran Church, La Porte
FREE to the Public - donations will be accepted
Now that "It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas," please join the La Porte County Symphony Orchestra Children's Chorus in your "Christmas Shoes" as they do a little "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree"! Since "Christmas was Meant for Children," bundle up your children for the FREE Need a Little Christmas Concert performed by local 2nd through 5th graders on December 6th.
A string quartet from the Northwest Indiana Symphony Youth Orchestra will perform, as well. They will also accompany the Children's Chorus, as will several local youth guitar players. This is a wonderful opportunity to support our local up-and-coming talent and provide your children a fantastic holiday experience, because "We All Need a Little Christmas"!
The concert, which is directed by Matthew Nelson, starts at 7:00 p.m. at Bethany Lutheran Church, 102 "G" Street, La Porte. The doors open at 6:30 p.m. Since the concert is FREE, make an early "Jingle Bell Dash" on the Polar Express for great seats as we head to "Toyland" for a "March of the Toys"!
Let the Children Sing!
Support 2nd - 5th grade students who love to sing. New singers are welcome to begin in January with a spring program planned. Rehearsals are on Tuesday nights. Contact Matt Nelson for information on joining the group.
$100 will sponsor a child for the entire year. Donors at this level are listed in the LCSO website and in concert programs. All donations are welcome, appreciated and tax deductible. Please pledge your support by emailing info@LCSO.net.
