My Strength themes 6th Annual All About the Girls

Editor's note: This article has been updated with the new All About the Girls date of May 27, 2021.

Strength is muscle, but more. It’s grit. It is perseverance, mental tenacity, and courage. Strength is also unlimited empathy, kindness in the face of disdain, and caring for others above yourself.

Regardless of how you define strength, you’re going to hear all about it at the 6th Annual All About the Girls event May 27, 2021 at Sand Creek Country Club in Chesterton. Individual tickets are on sale! Visit https://aatg2020.eventbrite.com.

The cherished tradition spearheaded by GreatNews.Life Executive Team Leader Jenny Craig-Brown and hosted by the media company ever since, brings hundreds of Region women and men together for an evening of uplifting stories and empowering life lessons, flanked by great company, a party-like atmosphere, delicious food, and tasty drinks and cocktails.

“I chose #MyStrength as a theme this year because I really wanted to celebrate the women who have been successful in discovering their inner strengths, and then sharing those with the world to make it a better place,” Craig-Brown said. “Inevitably, we have huge laughs, a few tears, and those gripping, poignant moments of silence during AATG, where you know that everyone in the room is captivated by the strength that is coming from the podium. I can’t wait to see how that plays out at our 6th annual event.”

Chris Mahlmann, Founder of GreatNews.Life, said this year’s theme is fitting, considering the way he has structured his company.

“There is a reason women lead our company, and strength and resilience have a lot to do with that,” he said. “When I reflect on the strong women in my life – especially my wife Natalie – I am in awe of what they have been able to accomplish. Jenny has taken the reins on this event since its inception and I’m more than happy to continue hosting something that uplifts and celebrates the strong women throughout the Region. I can’t think of a better way to spread Great News.”

GreatNews.Life, which publishes NWI.Life, Valpo.Life, Portage.Life, and LaPorteCounty.Life, will announce the speakers of the event in the coming weeks. This event has sold out the past two years. Be sure to get tickets early! https://aatg2020.eventbrite.com.
