Three Marquette Catholic teams competed on Thursday. The cross country team ran at the New Prairie Invitational. Boys tennis traveled to River Forest and volleyball hosted Whiting.
The cross country team ran hard and continue to show improvement. Their next contest is Tuesday, September 10 when they travel to Calumet for another GSSC tri-meet.
The volleyball team had a pair of victories as both the JV and varsity won. JV won 2-0, while varsity won 3-1. The volleyball team returns to action on Tuesday, September 10 when they travel to South Bend St. Joes for a 5:00 matchup.
