Three Marquette teams hosted a contest on Monday.
Boys Soccer celebrated senior night and honored the careers of Isaiah Papineau, Reagan Deporter, Jack Disser, Phil Shikany, Luke Salyer, Tommy Anderson and William Connelly. Marquette Catholic hosted Kouts and had no problem taming the Mustangs win 3-0. Marquette was led by Jack Disser, Isaiah Papineau and Reagan Deporter who each scored a goal. Boys soccer returns to action on Thursday, October 3 when they travel to Boone Grove. Kick off is set for 4:45 p.m.
Volleyball hosted South Central in a thrilling contest. Following a 2-0 JV loss, the Blazer varsity came out and built a commanding 2-0 lead ouf their own. But the Satellites battled back to tie it up at 2. In game 5 the Blazers were down as many as 5, but clawed their way back and with the game tie 14 found a way to score the next two and put the Satellites away for good. The volleyball team returns to action on Thursday, October 3 when they host Calumet. JV starts things off at 5:30 with Varisty to follow.
Boys tennis hosted South Bend Washington and had no problem dispensing of the Panthers, winning 4-1. The boys tennis teams returns to action tomorrow when they travel to Lalumiere for a 4:30 contest.
