Many people in the community do not realize that the Marching Band is an extra-curricular activity. All the practices and rehearsals are held during the summer, after school, or on the weekends – nothing is done during school hours. Since marching band membership is voluntary, middle school students who are willing to commit to the high school demands and expectations are permitted to join the group.

This year, the LPMB had six middle school members who helped earn the 2nd place title. Morgan Lowe and Jackie Martinez both play flute for the marching band. Skyler Ahlberg, Victorio Sirugo, Drake Stephani, and Eric Boklund are all percussionists for the band. Congratulations to all band members for the extraordinary accomplishments this year!
