The Michigan City Refuse Department
The Michigan City Refuse Department will be operating a regular schedule on Christmas Eve, Wednesday, December 24, 2014. The Refuse Department will not be working on Christmas, Thursday, December 25, 2014. Trash pick-up will resume on Friday, December 26, 2014. Thursday’s normal trash pick-up will be on Friday and Friday’s normal trash pick-up will be on Saturday.
Michigan City Central Service Departments
In observance of the Holidays, Michigan City Central Service Departments will be closed on Christmas Eve, Wednesday, December 24, Christmas Day, Thursday, December 25, and Friday, December 26, 2014. Central Service will resume their regular schedule on Monday, December 29, 2014. These departments include:

Michigan City Transit Department

NEW YEAR’S HOLIDAY

The Michigan City Refuse Department will be operating a regular schedule on New Year’s Eve, Wednesday, December 31, 2014. The Refuse Department will not be working on New Year’s Day, Thursday, January 1, 2015. Trash pick-up will resume on Friday, January 2, 2015. Thursday’s normal trash pick-up will be on Friday and Friday’s normal trash pick-up will be on Saturday.
