Congratulations to the Class of 2018! Congratulations to all students, parents, teachers, and staff from Michigan City High School for supporting our strong end to the school year. This was an exceptional year with many achievements and awards.
To recap on a successful school year:
- Graduation rate 90.3%
- School grade B
- Early College endorsement- Only early college program in North west Indiana
- College Board AP Honor Roll
- Our partnership with Sullair on our air compressor academy
- Several state accolades for Band and Choir
- Athletically- several athletes and teams competing at the state level! Most recently Ryan Stefanko placed 4th place at state throwing the shot put, and the boys varsity golf is headed to regionals!
June is here! This is the time for students and teachers to refresh and regenerate for the upcoming 2018-19 school year. Many students are taking advantage of summer school, involved with summer sports camps and keeping engaged and connected with MCHS via clubs and organizations over the next few months.
