Michigan City High School Students Win Awards at the 2017 World Creativity and Innovation Week Art Contest

Michigan-City-High-School-Students-Win-Awards-at-the-2017-World-Creativity-and-Innovation-Week-Art-ContestTwo Michigan City High School students won awards in the World Creativity and Innovation Week Art Contest, sponsored by the Center for Creative Solutions. The exhibit and contest was held at the Franklin Arts District Art gallery on April 7. Nick Britzke (right) received both first place and “people’s choice” for two mixed media works he entered in the contest, and Nicole Pomeroy (left) received second place for her deconstructed book sculpture, “Butterflies.”

Both students received cash awards. MCHS art students Bella Rimerez and Greta Beck sold their artwork at the show.
